Interview with John Lennon 1969

Because I'm new to this whole blogging scene I'm not really sure how to embed a video in here that's not straight from youtube. But if you get the chance I would seriously recommend checking this short video out. Its an obscure interview of John Lennon done by a 14 yr old fan in Toronto who snuck into his hotel room. Super enlightening stuff go watch!

Come on in!

So I kind of love doormats. I mean they're the first thing people see when they're going into your house. So in my opinion keeping it unique and personal is key when it comes to these things. No more boring WELCOME mats for this girl.

(LOL)

And of course this one's my fav:

LOVELOVELOVE

OhMyGod words cannot describe my love for these dresses from Edelweiss by Sarah. The shoulder details on the first and the color leave me drooling and the ruffle detail on the skirt of the second one is too adorable. But my favorite thing about them is how vintage inspired they are. Seriously love, love, love these dresses.

Pretty Little Thing

As someone suffering from a severe case of wanderlust, I find these necklaces from Pretty Little Thing completely charming. Don't they just make you want to travel the world?? So cute.

Now these on the other hand, I can't quite place. If I saw someone with one of those cleaver necklaces on I would probably high tail it in the opposite direction. But as I've said before I'm a sucker for originality and that bullet I would probably wear.

Lulu and Shay

Some more beautiful jewelry.
"Leeorah Betan-Hartman has been making jewelry for over 12 years. Her passion for jewelry started at a young age when she would make earrings and necklaces from beads and wire. Her signature design
is inspired by the forms and movement found in nature. This place of inspiration is a constant evolution for design and expansion of her collection.  Everyone has a unique perspective and a unique way of showing it. If it is something everyone sees everyday, or something only one person has seen, it will never be seen the same way twice. All of Lulu & Shay jewelry are made by hand with a great attention to detail and quality."

Intruders!

Stone + Smith

I cant get over how unique these pieces are! And that's totally my favorite quality.

The Chairy on Top

Yes that title was cheesy. No comment. I just thought these chairs were gorgeous.

I'm kinda feelin' the classic red but I am a sucker for a crazy pattern... Chairs found here.

Its Been a While

But I'm back! To say school has been busy would be a lie, and to say I was busy would also be one. Let's just call it a computer vacation (I know how is no computer a vacation?!). Thanks to the fabulous Fab.com I have come across some very cute (very out of my budget) accessories that I thought I would post up here for everyone else to drule over  the way I am.

Don't you just love it?? I sure do. Maybe someone will buy it for me for Christmas. Siiggghhhh.

Valentines Day cake

This is called an Ombre Cake which is basically just a layered cake with varying degrees of food coloring in each tier. Talk about Nom.

One Kings Lane

I found a great site with super sales on beautiful pieces. Although (as I mentioned earlier) I'm a broke college student and I can't really afford any of this stuff, it's nice to dream. Plus I knew someone would appreciate these huge discounts. And they carry one of my favorite brands Karma Living found here (and here through Fab.com). Here are some of Karma Living's beautiful pieces of furniture. I'll never get over the detail!
Here are some things I found on sale at One Kings Lane in the best section, under $50!

AllPopArt

Considering I'm pretty behind the times when it comes to...basically everything, you've probably heard of this before but this website offers the coolest custom portraits on canvas. Just send them your picture, pic a style and size and they'll send you back something like this:
Comic Book style
Or this:
Artist's Touch

I'm thinking I might get one done of my dog that just passed away and give it to my mom. That's a great present if I've ever seen one. Check out the pet portraits, they're pretty cute.

More Fab-ness

I'm loving all these awesome and (for the most part) completely useful things at Fab.com. More stuff to add to my wishlist! Stuff like these grenade lamps. So cool. And those Honey Badger mugs. Just look at that sleepy fuck.
